I live in Järna, a small town in Greater Stockholm (Stockholmlan). It’s located in southern of Stockholm city. I live here with a Pakistani guy who I knew him through internet when I desperately to find an accommodation in Stockholm. It is really hard to find a flat or apartment in Stockholm.
Last month, I read an advertisement at thelocal.se, a Swedish news portal in English, and I found an accommodation advertisement. I wrote an email to the advertiser that I need an accomodation in Stockholm. A couple of week later, I received an email that there is an available room for me in Järna.
I shared a studio apartment with him, the Pakistani guy who advertised it. The studio has a big room, a kitchen, and of course a bathroom. It’s situated near Järna rail station, about 10 minutes walking distance.
Järna is a peaceful town and close to nature. To reach Järna from Stockholm city, use pendeltåg (commuters train) J36 towards Södertälje centrum and get off in Södertälje hamn, then continue with pendeltåg J37 from Södertälje centrum to Gnesta, and get off in Järna station. A trip from Stockholm city to Järna is around 1 hour by pendeltåg.
